These silhouettes
They are tangled how water flows
Incapsulated in nothing but bright red
A fever of controlled pandemonium
Fingertips melt off each other
Lips are securely glued
Muscles tighten under soft skin
Read without sight when touched in the right places
Uncontrollable tremors stretch out their limbs
Only to be pulled back by each other’s hands
War rages in a loving violence
And all their teeth are unmasked
Sheets retreat as gods trample their home
Forever conquering each other’s lands
Puzzle pieces slide perfectly into each other
Cause indistinct whispers to break free from their prison
Time fades into smoke that drifts into the background
Swinging to the beat caused by the friction
These two forms move as one like the waves of a furious ocean
Crashing against the cliffs, then gently getting pulled back out to sea
Explosions cause stars to fall from the heavens
And the red turns into the softest white glow
Wrapped in each other’s arms, heartbeats start to play a slower song now
These gods become mortal again
